Intellectual Property

Alzhyme’s technologies are protected through a combination of patents, patent applications and trade secrets. The patent estate encompasses compounds, compositions of matter, and methods and uses for treating Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

The value of Alzhyme’s Intellectual Property lies in a combination of the skills and expertise of its key scientist, Professor Martins and his research team, together with key relationships with research institutions and commercial parties working in the relevant field. When Alzhyme was formed in November 2002 all intellectual property was wholly assigned without encumbrance to the new corporate entity.
